In-Motion:
The standard AWS110 In-Motion Axle Weigher is a pit mounted 3 m wide x 0.75 m long axle platform fabricated from heavy structural steel, with a stabilizing concrete insert below the floor plate cover to provide fast response & stable operation. The units are self contained with hot dip galvanized finish, and the pit is an inexpensive design. The rugged weighbridge incorporates four (4) precision shear beam load cells with integrated mounting assemblies to give best possible mechanical response and absorb and disperses the vehicle movement without shock loading. The load cells are run to a stainless steel junction box concealed under the platform and terminated into a summing board to accurately tune each end & provide accurate weighing over the entire surface. The digital indicator with extremely fast digital updates provides optimum weight peak sampling transferred serially to the AWS Load Manager Windows IN- MOTION Software Suite. AWS provides a software engineer at site to tune the program to the site conditions, you have the option of running the software on an existing office computer.
Static Semi – Portable Axle Weighbridges:
The AWS110/108 platform axle weigher is typically a pit mounted 3 m wide & from 4 m to 9 m maximum length fabricated full steel construction, hot dip galvanized finish. The rugged weighbridge incorporates four (4) approved precision load cells with self aligning mounting assemblies to give best possible mechanical response and absorb the vehicle movement without shock loading. The load cells are run to a junction box concealed under the platform and terminated into a summing board to accurately tune each corner to provide accurate weighing over the entire surface. The weighbridge is supplied with a quality digital indicator with extremely fast digital updates to give optimum weight peak sampling transferred serially to the Optional AWS Load Manager Windows IN- MOTION Software Suite which is an Intelligent Windows Software Program Option.
Load Cells:
The AWS 110 / 108 incorporates Quality shear beam and mounting assemblies which are assemble on delivery into the self-contained concrete pit. Larger capacity models have the option of using weighbridge load cells which come with integrated lightening protection and IP68 protection.
An axle weigher is effectively a robust platform scale built to weigh large vehicle axles OR groups of axles, either Statically OR IN-MOTION one at a time. The design allows for a very stable load receiving platform to keep the load at all times on the four (4) sensitive load cells.
At AWS we can manufacture Axle Weighers to YOUR specifications, we have options like IN -MOTION Software, unmanned terminals for use any time, drivers remote displays to give procedural instructions and progress weights to gross weights. The units can be termed semi-portable, as they are reletively light and can be transported on standard open trailers. Improtant to note with any Trade Certified Truck Scale, there is a need for concrete footings and / or pit to meet NMI requirements and also to stop the weighbridge sinking into the ground under load.
